Issue 6 of Esfera Pública. Journal on Governance and Society presents studies on the effectiveness of governance using qualitative and quantitative methods; the development of conditional cash transfer programs in Mexico, Brazil, and Chile; and the relationship between popular economies, the state, and the environment in Tlaxcala.
