Esfera Pública. Revista en Gobernanza y Sociedad records, preserves and makes available the editorial metadata of its published contents in order to support their identification, retrieval, citation, preservation, interoperability and academic circulation.

The metadata of published articles include, where applicable: title, authorship, institutional affiliation, country, author identifiers, abstract, keywords, editorial dates, volume, issue, section, DOI, licence, bibliographic references and other elements required for the description, location and retrieval of contents.

The journal uses persistent identifiers, including DOI for its published contents, in order to support the traceability, citation, location and academic circulation of articles. It also encourages the use of ORCID by authors in order to strengthen the standardised identification of academic authorship.

The journal’s OJS platform enables the management, exposure, retrieval and exchange of metadata through formats and protocols compatible with indexing systems, repositories, academic catalogues, databases and scientific information aggregation services. The journal maintains its public metadata in a structured form to support the visibility, interoperability and preservation of its contents.

The digital preservation of Esfera Pública. Revista en Gobernanza y Sociedad is carried out through mechanisms aimed at ensuring the long-term conservation, integrity, availability and retrieval of published contents. The journal has enabled LOCKSS and CLOCKSS in its OJS platform and preserves final files, editorial metadata, DOI, persistent identifiers and published materials through institutional backup procedures.

The dates of receipt and acceptance of research articles and academic essays are recorded in the published version of each article, which is available for individual consultation and download in PDF format.

The journal allows the self-archiving of the submitted version, the accepted manuscript and the published version of works in institutional, thematic or national repositories, without embargo, in accordance with its Repository Policy.

This licence allows copying, redistribution, remixing, transformation and building upon the material in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authorship, the original source of publication is cited and any changes made are indicated.
